Proverbs says to train up a child in the way he should go, so that when he grows old he will not depart from it. This is one of my mother’s favorite Bible verses, and this was always one of the memory verses for kids in our church and preschool.

I remember my mom sharing the gospel with us at kids’ church. The cutout characters, the board for sticking the drawings, and, yes, even the other kids that were with me back then. Including my husband!

Now that I have a kid of my own, I want to be able to share the gospel to my son as well. But sometimes I feel like I don’t know how and where to start. Mainly because I don’t know if what I’ll share is something he’ll understand at his age. Enter Let The Children Come.

From their website:

Let The Little Children Come aims to provide effective gospel tracts and evangelism tools and resources for children. It is the hope that these tools and resources will help you in conveying the powerful gospel message to children.

These gospel tracts are all specially designed to capture and hold the attention of children, while not distracting them from the core message of salvation through Jesus Christ.

This sampler pack I received contained the following 10 Gospel Tracks and Evangelism tools:

3 Animated Tracts:
John 3:16 Animated Tract
Where’s Everybody Going Animated Tract
The True Story of Christmas Animated Tract

2 Flipabouts:
Gospel Buttons Flipabout
John 3:16 Flipabout

2 Pop-Up Tracts:
The Most Amazing House Pop-Up Tract
The Lost Easter Egg Pop-Up Tract

3 Color-Based Tract/Tools:
Wordless Bracelet Kit
Silicone Salvation Bracelet
Wordless Book

Animated Gospel Tracts

Upon opening the sampler pack, I was immediately curious about the animated tracts particularly because of the weird looking images on the front page of John 3:16 and Where’s Everybody Going. I immediately checked it out and found a clear striped film that you need to move from left to right to make the image appear like it’s moving. Even my husband was amazed by these animated tracts! Here’s a quick video of it in action. Can you see the angels moving?

Flipabouts

The Flipabouts show 4 images one by one by folding and unfolding. I love that it makes you look forward to seeing what the next image is. Here’s a video demo that shows how to fold and unfold the Flipabouts.

Pop-Up Gospel Tracts

The pop-up books in the pack were also great. I love pop-up books because they make reading fun. I simply turn the page and voila! Images from the story move forward to add a 3D aspect to it. My son loved scanning through each page of the books to see the pop-ups.

Color-based Gospel Tracts

They don’t really call these “color-based” but these 3 items basically help you share the gospel without actually having words printed on it. It’s just colors, and each color represents something. Gold reminds us of heaven, red reminds us of the blood of Jesus, etc.

Let the Children Come’s evangelism tracts are perfect for use in Sunday School, Vacation Bible School, and outreach programs. It’s also perfect for sharing the gospel to your kids whether you’re in a church setting or at home. And because some of these are accessories that you can wear, you can use them as conversation starters wherever you may be!
