“The Bible” Miniseries Premiere

The Bible premieres March 3rd on the History Channel!

The Bible is an epic 10-part miniseries retelling stories from the Scriptures. It comes from Executive Producers Roma Downey and Mark Burnett and it targets the new generation. Breathtaking in scope and scale,The Bible features powerful performances, exotic locales and dazzling visual effects that breathe spectacular life into the dramatic tales of faith and courage from Genesis through Revelation.

I sure am excited to watch the series and see how they will be profiling the Bible’s important characters from a historical point of view.

I mean, I have always heard these Bible stories from church ever since I was a little girl. I’ve memorized lots of verses during Vacation Bible School and even portrayed some characters at church plays. But those portrayals and stories were all strictly taken straight from the Bible. It would be interesting to see how history sees this characters and to see the backdrop of biblical events.

The Bible Series brings stories from scripture to life for a whole new generation!

The question is…will you recognize your favorite characters when you see them for the first time in the series? This historic television event is sure to entertain and inspire the whole family! So where will you be 3.3.13?

    • Hi Denise! I tried the quiz a couple of times and concluded that the score also considers the time it took you to answer the questions. I guess I was reading and looking at the picture too long so the first time I tried, I only got 66%. LOL

  1. wow I only got 23%, so I guess technically all of them were a challenge lol. “Up against the mighty Goliath! Who is this brave 16-year-old boy?”…I didn’t know that one.

  2. I got a 63%…not bad for not feeling I know that much, guess I do listen in church some!! The one with the crown was difficult for me

  3. I got 76%. It was tougher than I thought! I had a tough time with “Fighting off the Philistines with the jawbone of a donkey… who is this brave warrior?”

  4. The title of the video is Recycling is a Beautiful Thing. Introducing the ReBorn Arrowhead Plastic Bottle

  5. I really enjoyed this miniseries the Easter it premiered. I watched it again last Easter. It was very well told, and it didn’t look like a cheap budget show. The acting was good and there was good special effects. I definitely recommend it to all Believers or those who may not necessarily be Christian but enjoy Religious/Historical programming. 🙂
