Back to School Shopping at Great Mall #BTSShopping

My son started school on August 22nd and his first day was both exciting and nerve-racking for me. The first day of school is such a memorable moment in every child’s life — although I do think it’s more memorable for the parents than the children.

I did my best to mentally and emotionally prepare him for the first day of school. Aside from encouraging him to feel excited about learning new things and making new friends, I also told him that he IS ready for school, that he will do well (as long as he studies and practices their lessons) and that Mommy and Daddy will always be here to support him.

Getting him prepared for school also meant we had to buy a few school supplies and gear. And since they don’t have a school uniform or a strict dress code, we simply need to make sure that he has comfortable clothes for school.

Great Mall in Milpitas, CA is the perfect place for back to school shopping because they have a lot of stores for kid’s clothes. We love shopping at Gap, Old Navy, Gymboree, H&M, and Children’s Place for my son’s clothes.

And of course, our trip to Great Mall won’t be complete without me and my husband’s usual window shopping at Coach, Kohl’s, Columbia, Bath & Body Works, Foot Locker, Nike and a lot more!

Back to school shopping is certainly fun especially when you have a lot of great clothing choices at great prices. And to celebrate back to school season, here are some throwback back-to-school fashion photos. LOL!
