3 Types of Baby Accessories That’ll Save the Day

Everybody knows that having a baby is going to change your life forever. Going into being a first-time parent, you have to understand that you don’t understand what is going to change about your life. You will have vague and abstract concepts about sleepless nights and poopy diapers, but it will all be worth it at the end of the day.

Conceptual knowledge is a great preparatory tool to help guide you towards what you need to know. But, it won’t help you organize your baby bag in a way that almost seems like cheating. It won’t tell you what products you should have in order to be the most efficient parent, but it will save you time and money when running errands.

This article is going to go over a couple of parent-tested items for your baby that are sure to help streamline your life.

Baby Products

Onesies

Babies don’t need an extensive wardrobe, they aren’t very picky and will be just fine with whatever you put on them. There are a large variety of clothes out there for you to choose from though, so how do you know what is most efficient? For newborns and infants, you’re going to want something that is mechanically effective – something with side snaps that allow for quick removal. This has traditionally been the onesie; a pull over shirt that snaps under the diaper. You’ll want to stock up on these as infants are messy and these are great for quick access to the diaper.

Try to have at least half a dozen of these – more if you don’t want to do as much laundry – because your baby will go through at least two of these a day.

Disposable Wipes

You’re already going to have a bunch of these on hand for diapers, but they are an extremely versatile product with many functions. Keep a good sized pack in your glove compartment, purse or travel bag. Always get fragrance-free as there are chemicals in fragrances that may activate allergic reactions.

Having baby wipes on deck will help with every day up keep and cleanliness of your baby, car and home!

Travel System Car Seat

Running errands isn’t exactly anyone’s idea of a great day – especially when you have an infant with you. Babies aren’t fond of sitting in one spot for too long and being shucked around in carts and strollers all over town. Enter the travel system. It’s a car seat/stroller combination that works in tandem with one another to provide a seamless experience from the car to the store.

If your baby fell asleep in between rides from one store to another, how are you supposed to move them without causing too much disturbance? With a travel system, you simply unclick the car seat from the dock and snap it into the stroller for a completely streamlined move that doesn’t wake up the baby.

These all might seem like really typical items to have in your baby gear arsenal, but the extraneous uses they have come from hard-earned experience – for your benefit!
