I love weddings. I love attending them AND helping others plan them. Now I’m not really a wedding planner but I’ve helped organize a few of my friends’ weddings. And while it may be fun, it can also be really stressful.
My brother-in-law will be getting married next year and I must say that our family’s really excited for it. I heard from a friend that they might be hiring a fantastic DJ Violinist which makes it even more exciting! It’s never too early to start planning a wedding so I’m giving them a list of things they need to include in their wedding registry.
The Best Buy Wedding Registry site lists a wide variety of products that new couples will need and want as they start their new life together.
But let me give you just five items that should be included in a wedding registry! This is my list of recommended products available for registry and purchase at Best Buy.
Apple TV
Newlyweds would love to spend as much time with each other as possible. They’ll enjoy watching shows and movies with an Apple TV especially if their regular cable isn’t set up yet.
With an Apple TV, they can get access to a world of instant entertainment as long as they have internet connection. They can stream movies, listen to music, and access a wide variety of other content!
Shark Ultimate Professional Iron
One thing others might forget but I think is very important is to have an iron in your registry. There’s nothing I hate more than having to wear something that’s so wrinkly.
The Shark GI505 Ultimate Professional Iron smooths wrinkles from clothing to maintain a professional, stylish appearance. The stainless-steel soleplate allows easy gliding action and heat retention during use. The lightweight design and 10′ cord permit simple movement.
iTouchless 8-Gal Stainless Steel Trash Can
We used to have one of these years ago and it’s something I know new couples would want to have in their kitchen.
This iTouchless trash can features air escape holes to facilitate removal of a full bag. The AI Smart-Chip II infrared sensor enables touchless operation, minimizing the spread of germs and helping to ensure your hands stay clean. Perfect for when you’re in the middle of preparing a meal and need to throw something away.
Rival Rice Cooker
Rice is a staple in all our meals so our day can’t go without it. Same is true for my brother-in-law, so a rice cooker should definitely be in their wedding registry.
The Rival Rice Cooker allows you to prepare up to 6 cups of rice. The nonstick removable bowl makes cleanup easy and the keep-warm setting allows you to keep food ready to serve without overcooking.
Chef’s Classic Nonstick 14-Piece Cookware Set
This 14-piece Cuisinart cookware set includes 1-1/2-qt. and 3-qt. covered saucepans, a 4-qt. covered sauté pan, an 8″ skillet, a 10″ covered skillet, a 9-qt. covered stockpot, a 20cm covered universal steamer and a 24cm pasta insert. Its tempered-glass design provides strength and durability, and its cool-grip stainless-steel handles are riveted securely to the pans to provide a safe grip. The helper handle provides extra support on the sauté pan for easy lifting.
The Cuisinart Cookware Set costs $199.99 — pretty expensive if it will be purchased by just one person! Good thing Best Buy’s Wedding Registry has a Group Gifting feature!
Best Buy Wedding Registry Group Gifting
Group Gifting allows gift-givers to contribute any amount they want, so couples can ask for the gifts they really want and not worry about price point. It allows couples to ask for what they really want, without asking their guests to spend more than they are comfortable with—so they can dream big.

These are all really great ideas for weddings!
These are some great gift ideas. I have a wedding coming up soon. I will definitely be checking out Best Buy. We have one close to the house. Thank you for sharing
I didn’t know you could buy pots and pans at Best Buy! I do really want an Apple TV someday.
I prefer a simple wedding. There’s so much fuss made, it is very stressful and things get out of hand. You did write a good review though.
Theses things are nice
These are all fantastic gifts that I would LOVE to receive at my wedding! I personally prefer a small wedding too, an intimate event with close friends and family.
A rice cooker is always a nice item to have. Thank you for sharing these top picks.
These are good wedding gift ideas. I didn’t know you could buy a rice cooker and cookware set at Best Buy.
My friend has a touchless trash can and it’s great.
These are useful gifts that I would LOVE to receive at my wedding. Especially the rice cooker!

These are really good gifts!
Those are all really nice gifts. I would not mind a few of them myself.
I should have asked for an iron for my wedding. I still don’t have one and I am 45. I have to rely on shower steam to lessen wrinkles. It’s pretty sad.
These are all great items. I like the Shark GI505 Ultimate Professional Iron and the iTouchless trash can. A touchless trash can sounds really great.
I would love any of these items on my registry!
These are great ideas! I wish that this would have been available when we got married, could have really gotten some great gifts. 🙂
Great list. I would never think to get a trash can for a wedding gift but the iTouchless 8-Gal Stainless Steel Trash Can would be awesome to get!
These are some much better ideas to make an impact.
Your registry has some great items on there, I think my fav though is the Apple TV. Hope you get everything you request!
The rice cooker would be a hit with my friend.
I love the pan set and the garbage can too thanks for sharing the great Ideas
This looks like a lot of great equipment. In pic they are having a blast.
The Apple TV would be good for someone who doesn’t already have it.
These are all awesome gifts and thank you for the review.
These all look like very nice items to have.
These are really good gifts! A rice cooker sounds great!
I never did that. It sounds like a person is not only expecting a gift, they’re telling you where and what to buy. I know it’s common, I just didn’t feel comfortable doing it .
These things are always good gifts! I like the Apple TV!
Thanks for the Fantastic Review on My Top Five Wedding Registry Items At Best Buy!
Your Gift items sound terrific! I love all the items you have listed. I wonder if Best Buy has an anniversary registry?? After being married for 32 years, our things are old! We need new almost everything! When we got married, it wasn’t a good idea to have a gift registry! Plus, my family and his are both cheap, I was not allowed (per my parents) to have a dollar dance at the wedding either! I love these items so much for newlyweds! They generally start out with not too much and these gifts you have listed will be a huge help. Thanks for sharing your fantastic review, the pictures, and your personal and professional opinions on My Top Five Wedding Registry Items At Best Buy with all of us! I honestly do appreciate it! Thanks again! Michele 🙂
