I remember dreaming about having my own perfect love story back when I was in high school. You know, that stage in probably every girl’s life when romantic movies and novels appeals so much. Fast forward to 15 years later, I can say that, yes, I got my perfect love story. It may not be perfect by other people’s standards — and definitely not Disney Princess-perfect — but it’s perfect for me.
My love story was not as smooth-sailing as others’. My husband (boyfriend, at that time) and I have had to face hardships — from the fact that we were on opposite sides of the world, to my mom not liking him. But we got through all of that and are now happily married. We’ve had to make sacrifices, yes, but I think it was all worth it.

Looks like a good movie. I’ve never been in a “real” relationship until my current boyfriend. He’s amazing and has accept my kids, and me for all my weirdness like a champ! But before him I was kind of against love and all that! 😉
I loved “Far and Away” with Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman. I also have a soft spot for “The Princess Bride” and “Knotting Hill.”
I know it’s cheesy but I love the princess bride. Such a sweet movie. ^-^ This one looks good too though. Next time it’s my turn to suggest a movie I’ll pick this. xD
I love the Way We Were.

I still believe in love stories at 41 i married my high school sweetheart
I think we all go through hardship and have joy and regrets. You just have to always remember that even at the worst of times, there’s a reason that you’re together.
My favorite movie and book is A Star Is Born with Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson from 1976. Nothing ever came close to this movie.
I like the movie PS I love you!
That girl has to be related to Julia Roberts. They look like they could be twins.
I thought the movie was just ok. It wasn’t one of Nicholas Sparks best books/movies.
I have not seen it yet but it sounds like my kind of movie. Thanks for posting this!

This was such a great movie. I have watched it several times and have shared it with my friends. Thank you so much for sharing this
I haven’t seen a movie with a good story line in ages. I usually get restless and can’t sit through a movie unless it catches my attention early on.
I haven’t seen The Longest Ride yet but I do plan to. My mother is a big fan of Nicholas Sparks, so we will definitely watch it together. 🙂
