My son and I both love yogurt. And although most people eat yogurt for breakfast, we love enjoying yogurt even as a midday snack.

There are lots of possible ways to incorporate yogurt in various meals or snacks throughout the day. You can mix it into your smoothies, ice pops, muffins, parfaits, or you can simply enjoy it as is.

I’ve also tried to incorporate yogurt into our pancakes. But there are times when we want something similar on the go, so I decided to create Toasted Griddle Sticks with Yoplait® Yogurt. Yoplait® Yogurt comes in 4 varieties – Original, Light, Greek, Gogurt® – which are all available at Walmart. For this recipe, I used the strawberry banana flavored yogurt.

I simply mix 1 cup pancake mix, 2 tablespoons sugar, 1 egg, 1/4 cup milk, 1 ripe banana, and 1 Yoplait® Strawberry Banana Yogurt. Cook it as I would normally cook pancakes. Once done, I slice it up into sticks and leave it in the oven preheated at 350F for about 8 minutes (the time usually varies on how big the “sticks” — or slices — are and how toasted I want them to be).

I place everything in a zip lock once it cools down and voila! We now have some griddle sticks on the go! I also love dipping these sticks in Yoplait Yogurt. Yum!

Have you tried Yoplait® Yogurt yet? What other yogurt recipes do you suggest?
