Parenting is the ultimate adventure — each day can feel like we’re exploring unchartered territory. While some adventures take you abroad, others can take place at home, like watching a TV show or movie with our kids and meeting new characters or visiting a fantastical world together.
This summer, Hiccup and Toothless, from the critically acclaimed How to Train Your Dragon films are embarking on unparalleled adventures in the all-new Netflix original series Dragons: Race to the Edge – and inviting you along for a dragon ride!
Soaring beyond their home on the island of Berk in search of new dragons, Dragons: Race to the Edge introduces some of the most exciting dragons yet, each with its own amazing abilities — shock waves, cannon balls and fire blasts, just to name a few.
And to help us level up on our adventure, Netflix sent us a Dragons kit!
My son and his cousin had a lot of fun with the masks, sword and map! They loved pretending that they were going on some huge journey!
They also enjoyed drawing Hiccup and Toothless on our patio floor! And I must admit I did some drawings too. Even my son’s teenage cousin joined them!
And now they’re ready for more dragon adventures!
With the magical Dragon Eye, an artifact Hiccup finds aboard an abandoned ship, Hiccup learns there is more outside the confines of Berk, and that a little curiosity and determination can make every day an exciting journey. In Hiccup’s own words, “this changes everything.”
Be sure to check out the trailer!

I haven’t seen most of these movies, but it seems like Netflix has a great variety. That’s a cute dragon set they sent too.
Dragons: Race to the Edge sounds great and the Dragons kit sounds like fun. Thank you for sharing this review.
My girl is not quite into Dragons just yet, but Penguins of Madagascar: The Movie is on the top of our list!
I know my grandchildren would love this. I can’t wait to see this with them on Netflix. Thank you so much for sharing
How cute are those little guys! (and good artists too). Alysia LOVES dragons and what she calls ‘boy stuff’!
How cute, the one little boy looks so shy in the first photo. But with the mask, he turns into a superhero! Kids are so funny!

I love all the “How to Train Your Dragon”!!! I haven’t seen this Netflix series yet, but I I’ve seen both movies and watched the show that was on cartoon network. My absolute favorite thing about these Dragon series is, not only are they actually Really good episodes -unlike all the other movie-turned-into-tv series I’ve seen, The actors who voiced those beloved characters from the first ‘How to Train Your Dragon’ are Still voicing those characters. I totally super love that! and I think all of them are awesome for sticking with their characters. I’ve never seen or ever even heard of a cartoon tv show before where the movie actors voiced on tv too, and that always ruined it for me.
My nephew would get a kick out of this movie.
I’ve been streaming Disney movies on Netflix. They have a lot of great family shows available.
My son is totally into the Dragons books and my daughter is now starting to enjoy them. I love the hats they are wearing. So cute.
My godson will adore this movie!
