Save on Great America Theme Park Tickets!

California's Great AmericaLocated in Santa Clara, CA, the heart of Silicon Valley and at the edge of the San Francisco Bay, California’s Great America is the Bay Area’s best entertainment value. With more than 70 rides, slides, shows and attractions on 100 acres, California’s Great America truly has something for everyone.

NEW For 2015, California’s Great America will expand and rebrand the Planet Snoopy kids area. Three new Planet Snoopy rides will be introduced and be in place for opening day in 2015 when Great America begins its magical 40th season. The entire area known formally known as KidZville will be morphed into the expanded Planet Snoopy.

The new rides will include Joe Cool’s Gr8Sk8, Peanuts 500 and Snoopy’s Space Buggies. Gr8Sk8 will be an interactive ride atop Snoopy’s giant skateboard with the feeling of going off the edge. Peanuts 500 lets racers zoom around the track and slingshot around the track ends, while Snoopy’s Space Buggies will lift astronauts into the air for a gravity defying lunar landing. The park is much more child-oriented and Planet Snoopy is extremely vibrant with its new colors.

We went to Great America last year and had a blast! So we’re really looking forward to a visit this summer!

“Great America is known for its thrill rides, but we pride ourselves on a being a park for everyone. Enhancing Planet Snoopy and introducing three attractions parents can ride with children adds to our inclusive family atmosphere,” said Great America Vice President and General Manager Raul Rehnborg.

  1. Thanks so much for the Fantastic Review of Save on Great America Theme Park Tickets! This America Theme Park sounds wonderful! I presume that it must be close to where you live. We’re not too far from Hershey Park (about a 3 hour ride) and we haven’t been there in years! Not since the kids were little! These Theme Parks prices have really gone up in price lately as well! Plus, the problem with us is that my hubby and myself (being disabled) do not go on much except for the monorail, the train, and maybe the sky lift, however, we have to pay the same price as a people who will be going on everything! This Great America Theme Park looks like they have a ton of rides! The new Snoopy part of the park sounds terrific for the kids! I would love to go to the Philadelphia Zoo this summer! It’s a little over an hour drive from my home! There are so many things to do not overly far from our home, however, with saving our pennies and with all the things that need to be done to our home this summer, I highly doubt that we’ll be going anywhere. If you go again this summer, I surely hope that you and your family have a terrific time! Thanks so much for sharing your fantastic review, all the terrific pictures, and your personal and professional opinions on Save on Great America Theme Park Tickets with all of us! You know that I always appreciate your reviews!!!! Thanks again, Michele 🙂

  2. I get dizzy just looking at the roller coaster. I can’t believe that when I was a kid I rode on them. I guess when you’re young, you’re fearless. Or senseless.
