Changes + Kindle Fire HD 7 Giveaway

I’ve been blogging for almost 4 years now (my 4th blog anniversary will be in July), which means that it’s been a while since the time I resigned from my job because of a very difficult pregnancy. I started blogging in 2011 because I wanted to do something new, something different. Back then, blogging was just a pastime, something I did just because I had a lot of time in my hands. But my blog has become more than just a pastime. It’s a huge part of my life now.

A few weeks ago, my husband and I decided that it’s time for me to work again. I’ve been sending out my resume to some companies and I sure hope I get a job soon! I assume it’s going to take quite a while for me to get used to that kind of life again. But I’ll try to maintain activity here as much as I can. Because I know that a huge part of the success of my blog is you — the readers who so actively come back to check for new posts and new giveaways — and I don’t want to disappoint you. ๐Ÿ™‚

So as a way of celebrating this new phase in my life, and as a way of appreciating you, my readers, for making the effort to visit my blog, read whatever I post and enter my giveaways, I bring you this giveaway.

  17. The best gift I ever received was my very first Kindle. My Mom bought it for me before I was about to take a trip because she knows that I usually take at least three books with me when I fly (one for reading on the way there, one for while I am there, and one for the way home). The previous time I had flown there was a blizzard and I was stranded in an airport overnight for 8 hours! I read all three of my books and ran out of things to do (and of course every store in the airport was closed). With the Kindle I never had to worry about running out of reading material while traveling.

  30. My basic answer to my favorite gift received – it has to be having the opportunity to receive this as a prize – that and all other giveaways. The chance to win a prize is so valued which is higher then the sky. The reason for such is I have very little after being injured in an accident (though it was the other drivers fault) that has cost me almost all I own to afford a portion of the medical bills! 35. My husband gets me my favorite kind of cookies every year for my birthday. I always look forward to that.
