This is a Fashionista Event and a promotional item was provided to me by Sweetworks. Hosts for this event are Still Blonde after all these Years and ModlyChic.
One of the things I love about Christmas is that we all get to decorate our homes with fun and colorful stuff! I’ve actually been wanting to get a fresh Christmas tree way before Thanksgiving but we only got to buy one on Black Friday because we were really busy.
We started working on our tree then, and now that it’s done, I want to put up more Christmas decorations in other areas of our house. And thanks to Sweetworks, I got to spruce up one side of our dining area.
I received a whole package of Sweetworks candies so I can create a holiday candy display. We have a small dining table so I knew I couldn’t place a centerpiece there. So I used it to decorate the shelf beside the table.
But even if you don’t have a huge space for some candy display, you can still work it out by displaying just a few items at a time.
These Sweetworks candies look so nice that you can even let them stand alone without any other christmas decor around them. They give so much color and life to any plain area in your house!
I even used my Sweetworks candy to decorate my ice cream bar the other day! My son had a lot of fun creating his own ice cream decoration using Sweetworks candy but he ate it before I could even take a picture! LOL!

Hi Alayne! The jars I used are hand-me-downs from a friend and I’m not sure where she bought them. Sorry! But I know I’ve seen some jars at Target. Amazon also has some. 🙂

I like the idea of decorating with candy. It’s colorful and fits in with the decorations.
I know this is an old post, but I just found it. Christmas decor is my weakness. My family says I go overboard and it looks like the North Pole threw up in my house, but my grandsons call my place “The Magic Christmas House”, so it will continue! I LOVE this idea! I’m definitely going to use it next year. The grandies will love it too, since they can have some treats. (And maybe they’ll stop sneaking candy canes off my trees 😉 )
