  1. Thanks for the Terrific Review on Audible.com’s Audiobooks for every occasion! WOW they sure do have an awful lot of books to choose from! This is a really neat idea! Kids love having books read to them and I’m sure they would be thrilled to sit and listen to a story book which they picked out. This is really a terrific way to go through books. Instead of reading them, you listen to them! I love that! Thanks again for the Terrific Review and all the books which you described! I really do appreciate it! Thanks again, Michele 🙂

  2. I think audiobooks are awesome. I used to listen to a program in the radio where they would spend an hour once a week playing an audiobook. When they cancelled that program I stopped listening to that station. I think a subscription to Audible.com would make a great Christmas gift. I need to visit that website and see what books they have, thank you for sharing this review.

  3. I used to scoff at this. I like reading real books. Now, I’m re-thinking it. I spend so much time sitting in front of this computer, I just don’t have the time to read much.

  4. I had not heard of Audiobooks before but what a great idea. I am often at one of my kids sports practices and have there are no places to “plug in” or the lighting is poor. This would be perfect for me. I can catch up on my reading and still be able to watch my kids. Thanks!

  5. I love audiobooks for when I’m commuting to work. This is a great list of books that I will have to go check out. Thanks

  6. These would be awesome for when I want to read really bad but am driving or doing a chore that my hands are not free I don’t believe I have ever listened to one before either

  7. We’ve been going through a spell of poor weather and are locked inside for the most part. Once the news isn’t new any more (!) we kind of run out of things to do – listening a book is a great idea!

  8. I have not tried this yet but it is on my list to do so. I really appreciate you sharing this. I love books and they always relax me.

  9. I tried the audio books, and I just couldn’t get into the stories this way. I’m an old school, hold my hardcover book reader, lol

  10. I have never tried the audio books. Not a bad idea. There’s something about turning the pages of a paper book that I like. Reading is relaxing.

  11. I have never listened to an audible book but my mom loves them. May be something fun to try out while I do chores as opposed to Netflix cooking shows! lol

  12. This would be good for a long car trip, or even while doing housework. There are so many books I’d like to read. I just never make the time.

  13. Love audibles!! I never have time to sit and read anymore!! But I could listen to a book and clean my house!! Talk about multitasking!!

  14. I first started using audio books after a major operation last year. I just wasn’t able to concentrate on reading or watching films so just listened to plays on the BBC. My sister got an audio book from our local library for me to try & I loved it. I could stop it when it suited me; perfect for when your energy levels are low!

  15. I would give anything to have this right now. I’ve always enjoyed reading, but as of late, my eyes have gotten so bad, making ng it so difficult to read. Maybe there will be a contest for one.

  16. I don’t have an audible acct but I have a friend that does, She enjoys listening to someone read her a book or words through the Bible.
