  17. I personally like both dolls, however, for my Granddaughter and/or my daughter here at home, I think that they would love Samantha! Both girls love the color Pink and I think she’s so adorable in her “old fashioned” clothes! I was going toward my granddaughter because Samantha has a cloth body and Scarlett will be able to hug her more easily! Scarlett also has dark hair and I feel that she will just love to have a doll like this! It would be a terrific Christmas Gift! Thanks so much! Michele 🙂

  22. I really like the American Girl of the Year Isabelle. She seems more into the today world, thought Samantha is beautiful, I think my niece would think she was too dressy and fancy.

  34. I like Samantha the best because I remember reading one of the books with her it in when I was a kid. I never had a American Girl doll when I was a kid it would be cool to have one now. I would pass the doll to my daughter if I ever have a daughter.

She also loves all the different outfits that American Girl Dolls can have.. her favorite right now is the Sparkly Camping Outfit.. we just got the new catalog today and since they got let out of school early because of the snow, she’s been pouring over it for hours now 🙂

  66. Thanks for the Review on the American Girl Dolls! I’ve always liked the American Doll series even though we have never owned any! They are always so adorable and come with their own clothes and each has a story about them! I was in the giveaway, however, with being in so many and trying to win Christmas Gifts, It’s so hard to keep up! I’ve been sitting on this computer sometimes 13 hours a day just to get entries in!   67. Thanks so much for the Terrific Review of the American Girl! The dolls which you reviewed are so adorable! American Girl has been around for many years! My Oldest daughter (who will be 28 on December 27th) with 2 kids of her own now, used to love American Dolls! They are really a very well made doll! And, if taken care of, will last a long, long time! I really do appreciate all the information you gave us on both dolls!
