Cinemark, one of the world’s largest motion picture exhibitors, has announced a partnership with Best Movie Fest Ever to present the first of its monthly film series at 10 Cinemark theatre locations across the country. “My Favorite Musicals,” featuring 3 award-winning musical classics, will take place on Saturday, July 26th and Tuesday, July 29th.
This mini film festival, which is being launched in partnership with Twentieth Century Fox, features all-time classic movies digitally re-mastered for the big screen: Academy Award® winning musical Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Oklahoma! (1955), Oscar-winning Moulin Rouge! (2001), and Academy Award-winning Hello, Dolly! (1969). Check out the trailer below!
The special 4K restoration of Oklahoma! will be screened at 30 frames per second — an identical frame rate as the film’s original release in 1955. Meticulously restored from 65mm Todd-AO elements by Twentieth Century Fox, Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment, and Fotokem, this stunning presentation captures as much detail from the film as possible. The beautiful images showcase the majesty of the frontier in a way never-before-seen and further magnified by the big screen!
The price to see all three films is just $15.
This includes special guest introductions, in-theatre promotions and giveaways, concession stand discounts, and a coupon good for savings on Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment purchases.
“My Favorite Musicals” will be presented at the following Cinemark Theatres:
– Century Huntington Beach and XD, Huntington Beach, CA
– Century Pleasant Hill 16 and XD, Pleasant Hill, CA
– Century Stadium Sacramento, Sacramento, CA

I Love Movies but I Really Love Live Musicals! Something about Seeing it Up Close for yourself is So Much Better than a Boring Old Movie! I Love Moulin Rouge or any Musical with Singing, Dancing, Romance, & Drama! It Sucks Living in a Small Town b/c we Never have Opportunities Like this where I live! For those of you who are Lucky Enough to go I Envy you! Have a Great Day Everyone! Jana Williams
I am a fan of musicals. However, I’ve never seen “Hello Dolly” although my Nana used to sing that song all the time. “Oklahoma” is great except for the ballet/dream sequence…I find it disturbing. I tried to watch “Moulin Rouge” but it was too all over the place for me.

I love Hello Dolly! What a pity none are anywhere close to where we leave. Thanks anyway!

Musicals are great to watch, and the pricing seems very reasonable. I would love to see all three of them. Great movies.

That’s a good price for the set. This would be an item to pick up now and use as a stocking stuffer later.
Never been a fan of musicals ever since my mom took me to see Westside Story when I was 7 or 8. Hated it so much, it was like torture. Maybe it’s time I try out some of these classics.
Wish I could have seen this. Maybe one day. Thank you for sharing
