Potty Training With Pampers Easy Ups

Potty Training with Pampers

Potty training isn’t exactly the easiest thing to do in the world. That’s why so many potty training resources are available for every parent and child going through this stage. And while my son has been using the potty for a few months now, I still find him every now and then waiting until the very last minute before he runs to the potty.

And that’s why I still need him to be on diapers when we’re out of the house. Now it’s been a long time since my son last used Pampers and since a lot of people are saying that Pampers Easy Ups is their choice for potty training, I decided to give it a go.

Pampers Easy Ups provide outstanding leak protection — even overnight — so that toddlers can have uninterrupted summer fun. It has an absorbent core that holds 25% more than the other leading training pant (which means fewer leaks!), and a more underwear-like look and feel, with fun graphics any toddler will love to wear!

Potty Training Pampers
My son has been using Pampers Easy Ups for about 2 weeks now and I’m glad to see that it hasn’t caused any irritation on my son’s skin. Granted, he doesn’t always wear diapers anymore. I just put the Easy Ups on him at night while he’s sleeping and whenever we’re on the go and might not have easy access to a restroom.

We also haven’t experienced any leaks on the Easy Ups even though we’ve been using it as an overnight diaper — which is great considering that my son is a heavy wetter at night. Now with the help of Easy Ups, I’ll just have to make sure that my son goes to the potty at least 20-30 minutes after he’s had any fluids, then observe any signs of needing to go so that I can remind him to run to the potty.

Potty Training With Pampers Easy Ups — 53 Comments

  1. Anything to help with potty training is a good thing. Haven’t done it in 40 years.

  2. One tip is to have a reward system set in place. Think of something that motivates and interests your child and give that as the reward.

  3. The only tip I have is sit your child on the potty before you start potty training. Even with clothes on. Just introduce the toilet to him or her so it’s not so scary. My older boys were terrified of sitting on the toilet, (they stood up to go pee, but sitting to go #2 was scary to them) Now with my youngest, I sit him on there any time I can get him to just so when it comes time, he isnt freaked out.

  4. I absolutely love Pampers Products,my grandson has eczema and can’t use any other brand without breaking out.

  5. I sat my daughters potty in front of her little table with a snack and some juice. She would sit on it and watch Blues Clues. It worked, didn’t take long to potty train her.

  6. I always had books by the potty so they could just relax and they both potty trained very easily. Never made a big deal about it.

  7. I haven’t started with my first yet, but I can see that patience is something you need!

  8. My potty training tip would be to wait until your child is really ready. If you start too soon your kid may becoming stressed and disinterested, making you frustrated.

  9. One thing I learned is rewarding them with whatever you see fit when they go on their own. Give encouragement!

  10. Hello! When my son was being potty trained, we were just kind of open about what went on in the bathroom. We made a normal thing that everybody does. Not always of course but you know what I mean. He knew what to do and, when he was ready, he did it. With prompting at first. If you’re having a really hard time, they’re not ready. Thank-you!!

  11. I used yo give my kids potty books to read to them while sitting. It’s all about patience and persistence!

  12. Its important to praise them, and enjoy as much as you can their big accomplishments. Potty training can be hard at times but lets have patience to wait for those resultas we want.

  13. My top is to set an alarm for every 45 minutes top put baby on the potty and stick with it, except in the evening when it is bedtime

  14. Try to potty train in the summer when they can wear as few clothes as possible during this process. You don’t want to slow them down when the urge hits.

  15. My potty training tip is to keep underwear on when at all possible (besides when they sleep).

  16. I am going to start potty training our daughter for the first time so I could use some good tips myself and reading the comments on this blog post was very helpful, thanks!

  17. Let the child lead the way. Otherwise, you’ll be cleaning up a whole lot of messes!

  18. Make it fun for your potty training toddler. We made a fun song up and a star chart. it worked like a charm!

  19. My beset tip is to be consistent – no switching back from underwear to diapers. Also, lots and lots of positive reinforcement really helps.

  20. I haven’t quite gotten to potty training, but my friend just gave me some good advice, making sure that we are using “potty” words all the time so she gets familiar with them and starts associating them. She said to pick specific words for things and stick with them so it’s not confusing.

  21. We use nothing but Pampers for our little ones. Pampers has been in our family for 15 years now. They are the best for potty training!!

  22. I have heard only great things about these Pampers training pants!! I love the cute prints on them too! I have yet to starting potty training…but I hope these training pants will help when the time comes! 🙂

  23. Sounds like a great product! Will tell my sisters about this product. They are both trying to potty train their sons.

  24. My son is potty training right now and is usually naked because he has very sensitive skin. I haven’t tried these before, maybe i’ll have the test them out and see if they’ll work for him! thanks for the review!

  25. I have always liked using pampers for my grandkids. I will definitely get my niece some for her new baby. Thank you for sharing

  26. I loved Pampers when my kids were young & I like them now for my grandkids! I love that they have easy-ups. I don’t know how many times, I had to remind one of the kids about going to the bathroom! They would wait so long, because they were having fun or didn’t want to stop what they were doing – leaking all the way to the potty. Plus it is easy to pull-up and remove. They have cute designs. NOW they have the Pampers Reward program where you can earn things by buying their products and adding the codes at that website. A winner all the way around!
