I mentioned in a post last week that we did a DIY Disney In-Room Celebration for my son’s 3rd birthday at the Disneyland Hotel last month. I gave some tips for a celebration that won’t break the bank especially if a Disney Dream Maker package is out of your budget. Now one good thing about creating your own in-room celebration is that you can set everything up at home so it would look and feel like you’re still celebrating!
Here are some photos of the setup I did at home. I didn’t spend a penny more than what we already spent while at Disney. And can you believe those hanging swirl decorations are still up right now? My little boy wouldn’t let me take them down! LOL
I stored all the other decorations in a cabinet because I might be able to use them all again in the future — especially because we’re all Disney fans here at home. Just another way of saving money!
Have you done any Disney In-Room Celebration (whether by the Disney Dream Makers or by yourself)? Let me know in the comments!

That is adorable. A fun way to share the Disney experience with his friends that couldn’t be there.
How fun! I love the colorful balloons and decorations, especially the streamers on the ceiling. What a nice touch. Your little man looks so happy in the photo next with the Mickey cutout 🙂
You did a wonderful job and I love your frugality (as well as eco-friendly) way of saving decorations. It amazes me that people generally just throw that stuff away.
I have never done a Disney In-Room Celebration, in fact I never heard of a Disney In-Room Celebration before reading about it in your post. It looks wonderful and it’s so easy to do. Thank you for sharing this post.
