Visit Gulf County Florida

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Gulf County, Florida for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

I have never been to Florida although I’ve always wanted to go and explore their beaches. And one place I’d love to visit there is Gulf County Florida or GCFL — particularly Cape San Blas which has miles of shell-strewn, pet-friendly shorelines.

There are a lot of activities available for anyone who visits GCFL.

If you’d like to have a full experience with water, you can go diving, scalloping and snorkeling, kayaking and paddle boarding, saltwater or freshwater fishing, and check out the boat launch ramps. If I were there right now, I will definitely make it a point to not miss an opportunity to go diving and see the reefs down under! Oh my! Just the thought of that excites me! And I don’t even have to be a certified diver because they offer a Discover Scuba program and I can go with supervision from a certified instructor.

The activities in GCFL doesn’t stop there. If you don’t want to get wet and prefer the outdoors in dry land, there are areas for camping, horseback riding, biking, and walking. Anyone can definitely enjoy the serene atmosphere of GCFL!

GCFL currently has a promotion on Instagram!

The #GCFLnofilter Contest celebrates the beauty of going outside and living life to the fullest, of being healthy and having fun! All you have to do to enter the contest is post a photo of yourself doing what you love outdoors on Instagram. Tag and tell @GulfCountyFL with hashtag #GCFLnofilter what you’re doing and you will be automatically entered to win a free Spring getaway to Gulf County! Isn’t that awesome?

But here’s something even more awesome! For every contest entry received, GCFL will donate $1.00 (up to a final donation of $5,000) to Outdoor Nation — a movement helping to connect kids and teens back to the outdoors. Outdoor Nation believes in reconnecting the Millennial Generation to the outdoors. Our health, the health of our communities, and the health of our planet depend on it.

But what is the prize, you ask? Five long-weekend Spring getaways to Gulf County!

These will be given out at random and GCFL will draw a new winner every week, and one extra winner upon conclusion of the promotion. GCFL will provide lodging along the Gulf, St. Joseph Bay or in the town of Port St. Joe. Each prize package will also include $200 to help with travel expenses and $150 towards your passion of choice. You can feel free to spend it on an excursion once you get to Gulf County, or to treat yourself to something at home. All to celebrate the outdoors and the real you!

The one thing I love doing at the beach is relaxing on the sand, just taking in the amazing view and listening to the sound of waves crashing. There’s just really something about beaches that tells me to clear my mind and just take it easy, to smile and be happy.

Come visit GCFL! The waves are calling! And be sure to Like GCFL on Facebook and salute real beauty!
