Live Your Own Vacation Story In Puerto Rico

I was 10 years old when I first got curious about Puerto Rico. And that’s because it was Miss Puerto Rico Dayanara Torres who won the title of Miss Universe that year. I was young but I could already appreciate her beauty — which made me think that perhaps all Puerto Ricans are beautiful and that Puerto Rico is probably as beautiful as its people.

I hoped (and still hope) that someday I’d be able to come and visit. You see, Puerto Rico is a 5-star vacation destination filled with world-class attractions. Whether you’re a golfer, foodie, the adventure type, or a beach lover, Puerto Rico has everything you’re looking for in a perfect vacation! And what’s really nice about planning a trip to this place is that you don’t need a passport and you don’t need to have your cash exchanged. Just hop on a plane and go!

Puerto Rico Tourism recently partnered with popular travel review site Trip Advisor to transform real traveler 5-star reviews into stunningly beautiful short films narrated by Puerto Rican stars. These reviews will make you want to See Puerto Rico and live your own 5-star vacation story in Puerto Rico.

Now if I had the opportunity to have my vacation in Puerto Rico, I’ll make sure I stay a minimum of 5 days! I’ll devote the first and last days to just relaxing and taking in the spectacular views of the beach (did you know that Puerto Rico has 270 miles of coastline and featured in the Top 10 beaches from Travel Channel??). The second through the fourth days will be devoted to some activities like golf, hang gliding, ziplining over a high forest canopy, rappelling down a deep cave, and paddling through a glow-in-the-dark bioluminescent bay. Wow! I can already picture it in my mind!

Live your own 5-star vacation story in Puerto Rico. You can also visit the only rainforest under US national park service, El Yunque, and climb to the clouds. History Buffs can enjoy old world charm of San Juan. Adventurers can enjoy horse back riding or the magnificent Camuy caverns that runs through the 3rd largest subterranean river in the world. Foodies can experience the delicacies of Puerto Rican gastronomy and its famous Rums.

Puerto Rico is filled with attractions that will instantly turn any trip into a 5-star vacation story! 9. Puerto Rico is definitely on my travel bucket list. I am part PR and have heard so many wonderful things about the island that I wish I could pack up and go right now! lol. I did not know that about the coastline and the bioluminescent bay…very interesting. thx for your review. When you do go…try all the native food…you will not regret it. My hubby never had PR food before he met me and now he craves it more than i do! 🙂

  10. I’ve been wanting to visit Puerto Rico for many years now, but somehow never get there. It’s such a gorgeous and relaxing place…well, maybe next year.

  11. For some reason I never thought of Puerto Rico as a vacay destination, but with all the neat outdoor/nature activities you’ve highlighted, I am intrigued. I will for sure consider it for our next getaway!

  13. I love traveling, but Puerto Rico was never really on my radar, despite my boyfriend’s love for it. This review made me rethink it! I love rainforests and the caverns sound so exciting! It’s definitely on my go-to list now.

  14. I have only been there once to debark on a cruise, so no sightseeing. I see it’s only one day until your Disney vacation so excited for you.

  15. The other day my husband announced that we should move to Puerto Rico. He heard there was tax laws there that were so much better than where we live now. I said lets go! We live in the north east and I’ve had it with this crappy weather. Sun and beach sounds very good to me now. I think though a few trips before we make our mind up is in order before we commit to living there.
