Get Organized With An Erin Condren Life Planner!

I received a gift card to purchase an Erin Condren Gold Edition Life Planner for purposes of evaluation. No monetary compensation was received for this post. Thoughts are my own.

No matter how advanced our technology may be these days, I still believe that nothing beats actual paper planners. For me at least. I love it when I can see my commitments, to-do lists and special dates on a sheet (or sheets) of paper that I can refer to without the distraction of calls, texts, apps and phone games. And I’m not just talking about plain planners here. I love it when my planner is a beautifully designed and laid out notebook — like the filofax in the 90s but much much much better!

And last year, I found out about Erin Condren planners. After checking out what’s included in one and seeing the awesomely designed pages, I decided to purchase my very first Erin Condren planner. It was a classic Candy Lace Life Planner and I still love it after a year of using it!

And now that I need a new planner for the next months, I decided to go for one of their Gold Edition Life Planners. Check out how beautiful it looks! The photos of the gold and white cover below doesn’t really do much justice to how it actually looks in real life. I had to adjust my camera’s angle because it’s shiny, but at least you get an idea.

Erin Condren Life Planner

Each Erin Condren Life Planner is filled with encouraging quotes about life. And each page is laid out and designed with a unique color pattern that I just love!

There are pages for recording birthdays and anniversaries for the year, pages for viewing each month and pages for viewing each week. Each day of the week is separated by “morning, day and night” which is perfect for me because that’s exactly how I plan my day.

The Life Planner has stickers for birthdays, anniversaries, parties, vacations, appointments, etc. And if you need stickers for events that aren’t in the pre-labeled ones, Erin Condren also includes blank stickers so you can write your own event/title on it.

Reminiscent of pre-smartphone days, there is a page for “My Important Numbers” which is specially helpful if you want to make sure you have a backup of contacts you don’t want to lose in case you lose or brick your phone.

There are 20 lined and blank Notes pages in the Life Planner and I must admit that this is one of my favorite parts in the planner because I almost always have something to write — be it Sunday church messages or minutes of meetings or vacation lists or just plain doodles.

And if you have papers that need to be kept with your planner, it has a “keep it together” folder and a zip lock pocket for those!

Erin Condren also includes a few extras in your Life Planner —  some gift labels and stickers with your name on it. Regular price for Erin Condren Planners range from $50 to $75 but they’re currently having a 40% off sale for 2014 planners so you can get one for just $30-$45. The price may seem a bit steep for some and I used to think that way too. But I just love Erin Condren Planners so much that I feel that it’s worth the price anyway.

They have LOTS of other awesome products that you need to check out so be sure to visit to see their full line!

  1. I agree with you there, nothing beats a paper planner. It’s a very good idea to have hard copy backups of everything that you have on your computer/tablet/phone. Thank you for sharing this review.

  2. What a great planner!! I find that even though digital stuff can make life easier, there is something to be said for actually writing things down. I get more things done around the house if I make a physical list, too!

  3. Those look great! I keep most of my stuff on the computer, but this would be good for when I’m not on.

  4. I love the weekly format divided into morning, afternoon, and evening sections

  5. While I love the graphic elements, quotes, and variety of colors, my favorite element has to be that there is a zip-lock pocket and a folder for miscellaneous papers, etc. I always have scraps of papers and notes that need a place where they can be remembered.

  6. Since I seem to be getting so forgetful these days, I need something like this to help me along with remember what I need to do and when. Not to mention, having 9 grandchildren, hard to keep track of the days. These look so nice!

  7. That’s much better than the way I do it. I write everything down on my wall cal. Quite messy looking.

  8. Hello! These planners are really nice! What I like most is how all inclusive it is & that they add the cute extras. Thank-you

  9. These planners would come in handy. I think they would make a great gift for a friend or relative too. It would be a great house warming or wedding gift for a new couple just starting out too.

  10. I like the quote pages. the stickers, and the zip lock pocket to hold things! 😀

  11. I love how the days are broken down, AND that there is a month-at-a-glance option. That’s my favorite way to plan!
