It’s Women’s History Month right now and I found this really nice infographic about female authors. These are women who did not let adversity stop them from inspiring and encouraging others through their words.

Check out their stories and how they have made a mark in history in the descriptions below!

Portrait Of A Woman: Character, Courage And Commitment — 10 Comments

  1. I have read The Diary of a Young Girl by Anne Frank, I have heard of the others but have not read any of them. This is a great infographic, thank you for sharing it. Perhaps in honor of Women’s History Month I’ll read some of the other books in the infographic. Thank you for sharing this post.

  2. For some reason EVER-TIME you recommend or review a book it always has me to intrigued and then I go on this crazy hunt until i find ir. Thank you so much for all the books and reading you share

  3. It’s really very inspiring to see these women making their marks in the history with their brilliant writing skills. Particularly, Helen Keller who was a deafblind person.

  4. Sad to say, I’ve only read two of these books, but I wholeheartedly recommend both Anne Frank and Helen Keller as authors who will make you appreciate the world in ways you might not have considered before. Thanks for highlighting this important and meaningful month.
