Gorton’s Artisan Fillet #RealSolutions Review

I received the Gorton’s Seafood products below for purposes of evaluation. Thoughts are my own.

I fell in love with Gorton’s the very first time I tried it. Aside from the fact that it tastes so delicious, Gorton’s Seafood has 20 food options with only 200 calories or less! And that’s why I make sure we always have a couple of Gorton’s Seafood in our fridge.

Just recently they introduced a new line of food items — Gorton’s Artisan Fillets — available in Roasted Garlic & Italian Herb, Lemon & Cracked Peppercorn, Southwest Tortilla and Southern Style varieties. These Artisan Fillets are expertly prepared in Gorton’s Artisan recipes and are made of real wild-caught Alaskan Pollock, bold ingredients like peppercorn, chilies, garlic and lemon, crushed tortilla chips, and Panko breadcrumbs.

With the free coupons I was sent, I headed over to the grocery store to pick some up. There was only one variety of the Artisan Fillets in my store so I got that one and also grabbed some of my favorite classic Gorton’s fillets. And here are just some of the simple and easy meal recipes I made.

  12. Gortons is pretty good. I like the beer battered fish. I’m not fond of the flavored stuff. I just wish that they would add a tartar sauce packet in the box.

  13. Gortons is pretty good. I haven’t tried the flavored, breaded variety yet. I’m not very adventurous when it comes to trying new foods.

  14. I like white, mild fish. So mild that it reminds me of lobster. Gorton’s beer battered fish is pretty good. It makes a good sandwich.
