  1. A few people have come together in our small community and have started a Christian Share Center. It is run by volunteers. Clothing and household items are collected and given away for free. If you have a need for something please come by and take a look at our clothes and small household items. If you have something you don’t need anymore, or doesn’t fit drop it off and we’ll see if someone else can use it.
We also have a wishing well for larger items. If you have a larger need for something please let us know and we’ll try to find it for you. I only volunteer occasionally or as needed. I would love to see that group win.

  2. I always treat everybody with my small town hospitality wherever I go. I always open doors for people, lend a helping hand if I see it’s needed and am a very considerate driver among other things. I just started a job waitressing for the first time, and I get tips everyday from people thanking me for “just being so nice”!

  3. The good I do in the community? I try very hard to follow in the footsteps of my leader, Jesus Christ, obeying his command to share the good news about God’s coming Kingdom with as many neighbors as possible.

  4. I beautify the environment by planting trees , flowers, fruits and vegetables supporting the bee population in this area. I pick up trash , recycle and re-purpose every item that I can in order to make a small contribution towards a better world.I shop local and support my communities businesses.I am considerate of my neighbors, donate to our homeless shelter , thrift charities and food bank.

  5. I always pick up trash, make donations of clothing and toys and spread the joy by always smiling and being kind to everyone.

  6. I am a part-time caregiver for the elderly at “At Home Senior Care.” I also volunteer to do housework and clean for an elderly woman and an Alzheimer’s patient.

  7. I just moved to a new area and although small, I have been considerate and picked up dog waste while walking my dog, whether it is hers or not. It’s nice to walk without the worry of stepping in dog poop!

I would like to eventually volunteer at a local animal shelter in the community.

  8. I donated to a local creative re-use charity that supports artists in the community and offers free programs for kids.

  9. I love to donate food for the food bank and I take clothes we don’t wear anymore. I like to help the elders out when I see one needing help at the stores.

  10. I recently donated to a local creative re-use group that offers free programs for kids and supports local artists

  11. I volunteer at the local animal shelter and donate to a domestic violence shelter.

  12. I always donate to food banks and children’s weekend programs to feed hungry children on weekends and summer break

  13. I wish I could do more for my community, but as a stay at home mom of 3, on a limited budget, and no transportation, I just do the best I can for my kids.
