  40. Today was an amazing day. My car started in the morning, I wasn’t late for work. I had the best cup of coffee, and an amazing oatmeal breakfast with nuts and seeds and fruit in it. And that was all before 8 a.m. I’m so lucky and wonderfully blessed to have a job to go to, and really okay people to work with. I really can’t complain!

  52. When I got up this morning my husband had the fire log on for me. It’s a small thing, but appreciated.

  76. Today I got good news. It’s along story about the gift I gave my son for graduating medical school and a possible expiration date. But it seems to have all worked out after much anxiety.

  157. It was in the mid 50’s today after over a week in the teens. Messy outside, but pleasant.

  158. It snowed all weekend and my Honey/Hubby spent much of the time shoveling and trying to keep up with it. And today is the coldest day we had in years (and that is saying a lot!) BUT:

    The the Sun is out in all it’s glory, the snow is still fresh and beautiful and the heat is working just fine!

  181. A few hours ago I heard an awful noise, I called my husband at work. He thought I was over reacting. So, I went to shower and the water pressure was low and the sound got louder. Like a waterfall in our walls. Luckily, after this call he came home. Our pipes had burst. So, the best thing to happen today is that he’s fixing it and we have some emergency drinking water.

  227. Today I took my 17 year old daughter to school, and we just talked. I remembered what a really great kid she is and how very blessed I am to be her mother. Sometimes I forget that when she is just being a teenager. Thank You God.
