One of the main reasons why I hate the cold weather is that I’m more prone to colds, congestion and sinus pain. The same is true for my husband. Sinus pain and pressure can so easily bog us down to the point when we just don’t feel like doing anything because we’re so distracted by it.

That’s why it’s very important for us to always have Sudafed in our medicine cabinet. Every time we feel any sinus pain, we always turn to it because it’s so effective on us.

Guess what? Sudafed is encouraging everyone to creatively share how they feel when sinus pain and pressure strikes! Head over to Sudafed’s OPEN UP™ application on Facebook and check it out!

It’s a pretty fun app in my opinion! You can upload your own photo and add some “stickers” that will allow you to show how sinus pain and pressure looks and feels to you. Do you feel like an elephant as sitting on your head? Like your nose is a dripping faucet? Whatever it is, you can use the app to express it! Opening up about it may help you feel good knowing that you’re not the only one and that there are others who feel exactly like you do.

Here’s an infographic that tells us more about sinus pain sufferers.

Sudafed knows that suffering from sinus pressure and pain can leave individuals feeling crushed, beat down, congested and even squeezed, desperately looking for a way to open up. Serious sinus sufferers are invited to creatively share how their sinus pain and pressure looks and feels to them by using Sudafed’s OPEN UP™ application on Facebook. Sometimes if the problem is a little more serious like flu, it can cause joint pains. If this reaches your back, try True Spine and their innovative solutions.

Then, beginning on December 2, the Sudafed Facebook community will vote for one of five finalist sketches that best illustrates the pains of sinus pressure. The winner will receive $5,000 and a chance to have their work included in a Sudafed advertising campaign. For more information, visit the Sudafed Facebook page.

  1. I have trouble w/ my sinuses. I get sinus headaches, sinus pressure. I usually take naproxen sodium for sinuses related symptoms, but I’m going to look into the benefits of taking Sudafed. Thanks for this blog post.

  2. I think this is a great idea for an app so you can share and learn about how you feel and feel better.

  3. i’ve never tried sudafed. things i’ve tried in the past have been worse than the problem to me. now i take steam showers, do nasal irrigation, and sleep with lots of pillows so i’m propped up and sometimes when it gets unbearable i’ll take some antihistamines which i don’t like because they make me hazy. but since this seems to work so well for you, i’ll give it a try next time the sinuses give me a problem. thanks for the info.

  4. My sinuses are so bad I know what the weather will be according to where the pain is.Some nights I sleep with a heating pad across my face.
