WEARHOP LOGO

Wearhop is a brand new concept in kid’s fashion. At wearhop.com, parents can save money by renting their kids’ clothes for a season, versus buying them. For example, a Janie & Jack dress that retails for $69 can be rented new for 40% off or ‘like new’ for 64% off. Parents can save even more for special occasion items which can be rented for as little as 1 month. Wearhop carries sizes 12 months to 4T.

There are certainly a lot of ways to save money on kid’s clothes (can I say, hand-me-down??), but what sets Wearhop apart from others is that they hand-pick only the best styles for their collection. They strive to offer a great selection from top brands like Crewcuts, Mini Boden, Janie & Jack, Hanna Andersson, Lilly Pulitzer, Tea Collection and more! They’re also unique in offering the ability to send the clothes back, which is perfect for one-time events such as family pictures, Easter celebrations, weddings and so much more!

Wearhop Ralph Lauren Jacket

I rented the Ralph Lauren Big Pony Sweatshirt in Blue. I decided to rent it for 6 months because I know the weather will still be a bit chilly in March. I think we’ll be able to use the sweatshirt a lot here especially because it looks very easy to style with layers!

The item arrived at our doorstep quickly and it looked just as it’s presented on the Wearhop website. This is very important for me because some photos on the internet can be a bit deceiving. Wearhop’s photos are actually very descriptive of the one I received.

My husband was pleasantly surprised when he saw the sweatshirt in the closet. He said he really likes the style; and since he’s my son’s official stylist, that’s great news to me! And when I told him it’s just a rental and that we’ll send it back after 6 months, he said it’s a really good idea because the clothes won’t just go to waste after our little one outgrows it.

All in all, I think Wearhop’s concept is very unique and very beneficial to renters and to the environment as well.

BUY/RENT! Check out all of Wearhop’s products at Wearhop.com! The clothes can be rented for 1 to 6 months and can also be purchased at the end of the rental period (just pay the difference between purchase price and the rental price that you’ve already paid). When your child is done with the clothes, just send them back. This makes the concept environmentally conscious given that the average American throws out more than 50 pounds of clothing per year.

  1. Children’s clothes are very expensive and for a special ocassion dresses/suits can cost too much money for a young family’s budget. This is a marvelous idea.

  2. Oh My Gosh!!! What a great Idea– The more dresser clothing are so expensive and they only wear then once or twice if that– I need to check this site out– thank you so much– you just may have saved me a bundle for five little people for Christmas party we need to go to.

  3. I heard about this on facebook, and it is a great idea but not for my kids, they seem to get holes and stains the first day they wear a new outfit but I think for kids who are a little more careful with their clothes this is a great way to have a new “waredrobe” and stay in style, thanks for sharing!

  4. We don’t have kids’ clothes rental here in my country. Applause to Wearhop. I’ve just heard about Wearhop brand. this is so cool 🙂

  5. This is indeed a great idea. I know many Moms who just don’t know what to do with all the clothes that thei kids grow out of – very quickly! It’d be great if they could just send them back to someplace. Also, makes more environmental sense to reuse clothes.

  6. This is great for pictures. I never knew there was a place you could rent kid’s outfits. Thanks for sharing.. I will be looking over this page for my son.

  7. I had never heard of renting clothes before, I wish this was around when mine were little. They are 26 and 30 now. Thanks for the info though, I will pass it on.

  8. I am going to check this out. My grandkids outgrow their clothes so fast. This just might be a solution to this. Thank you for sharing

  9. Thanks so much for the review on Rent Your Kid’s Outfit At Wearhop! This is really a neat way to shop! I have never heard of anything like this before now! I think it’s really terrific! Why purchase a new Easter dress when you know that she’ll only probably wear it once and then what? The same with a wedding! It’s terrific to know that there is somewhere you can go and rent a dress or wedding outfit for your kids and give them back when you’re done! I really truly like this idea! Thanks so much for sharing this information with all of us! I honestly do appreciate it! Thanks again, Michele 🙂
