Parenting Questions Answered At Kinsights (& $200 Amazon GC Giveaway)

I received compensation for my time evaluating the Kinsights parenting website. Thoughts are my own.

Before I got married and before I had my son, people seemed to always have one question — “Are you ready?”

I remember giving unsure answers to whoever would ask me that question. Then I realized that “ready” may mean different things for different people.

I may be ready in the sense that I have made my decision and I have resolved to try to do my best once I enter the parenting world. But I may not be ready in the sense that I don’t know all the answers to all the questions that may be raised once I become a parent. I do know, however, that there are people who are willing to help and give advice when I need it.

Kinsights was designed for such times when you need parenting advice, encouragement, or just a place to rant.

You can get parenting advice easier! Just ask anything and they’ll find advice from other parents. Create a health record for your child and they’ll keep it organized, private and secure. Kinsights pulls everything together to give a personalized community and tailored resources for each member. And the best thing about it? It’s free!

It was pretty easy to sign up. Aside from the usual sign up information, they will ask you for things that you’re interested in — recipes, babies, toddlers, preschool, potty training, technology, only child, etc. — so that they can give you a personalized experience. And since I chose Recipes, I get updates like this on my dashboard:

Since Kinsights is a website that seeks to build a community that provides parenting advice to its members, anyone can ask any parenting question. Take a look at this one question about shaving. If you have thoughts, I encourage you to share it!

Kinsights can also be a place for you to rant. We all know there are times when you just want to release your frustration. Here’s a rant/advice from a mother. Though it’s easy to react negatively to the title of her posting, it isn’t what you think and it actually ends positively.

I actually love the answers she got on her post. It’s one of the posts on the website that makes me want to hug every member and say that everything will be alright.

Think you need some parenting advice too? Make sure you check out Kinsights! You won’t regret it!
