Hasbro Twister Dance Rave Review

Disclosure: I received a Twister Dance Rave package from Hasbro for evaluation purposes. Thoughts are my own.

Twister Dance Rave

The TWISTER DANCE RAVE game brings the fun with today’s hottest music, great speakers and LED lights that shine to create your very own dance floor. The party never ends as players continue to learn new dances by following the lights and moving to the beat on the iconic TWISTER spots in head-to-head or freestyle play.

Twister Dance Rave is for any kid ages 8 and up. And since I want to feel like a kid sometimes, I think it’s great to have this in the house. I just place the console on the floor, set up the Twister spots (each side has to be a mirror image of the other), and dance according to the colors appearing on the console.

This being my very first toy/game like this, I wasn’t too sure how to do it but as I was following the directions on the manual, I eventually got the hang of it. here’s just a little tip: don’t dance barefoot! Wear some shoes or slippers or even just socks so that the Twister spots don’t stick to your feet.

There are 4 popular songs saved in the console but you can use your MP3 player so you can dance to more music. Oh and you can opt to turn off the lights so you can use it as a regular speaker. A pretty good bargain considering it costs less than $30 on Amazon right now.

All in all I think it’s a great game. It took me quite a while to get the hang of it because I’m really not much of a dancer (my husband can attest to that!) but I’m shooting for the advanced mode soon!

BUY IT! Twister Dance Rave is available on Amazon.com. It has an approximate retail price of $34.99 but the current price on Amazon is a bit lower.

WIN IT! Get a chance to win your very own Twister Dance Rave!  Ends Oct 24 at 10PM PST (1AM EST). Open to the US only. Void where prohibited. No purchase necessary. To enter, use the form below. Good luck!

  1. I can only dance to country but a song I want to dance to is “Whoop There it is” but I dont want to embarass the kids. 🙂

  2. This sounds like fun. It just might be a good exercise also. I know my grandkids would have fun with this. Thank you for sharing
