  • Black Friday shopping requires time commitment: About 50% of the shoppers surveyed spend between 3-5 hours shopping.
  • Black Friday is slightly more popular than Cyber Monday: Black Friday edged Cyber Monday by 6% as the shopping holiday of choice among Black Friday shoppers.
  • Email alerts on deals are important: More than 81% are interested in receiving email alerts on the latest Black Friday deals.
  • Holiday shopping begins in October: About 30% of Black Friday shoppers begin their holiday shopping after Halloween.
  • Shoppers compare retailers in advance: About 45% visit 3-5 different retailer websites looking for sale information when planning for Black Friday.

  2. Very interesting infographic. I always wonder if I’m better shopping online on Thursday, going to the store at midnite or waiting until early morning. I like the convenience of sitting at home in pjs and shopping, though! Especially if it is really cold out. Hadn’t heard about Find&Share so I will look into that – it sounds helpful!
