The moment I saw the cover of this book, I immediately fell in love. Precious Moments is something I grew up seeing. The Sunday School and vacation bible schools I attended as a child had Precious Moments posters of kids praying, being nice to each other and just plain being cute. And that’s exactly what you can expect in this book.

But aside from the really cute graphics, what I love about this is that I can use it to teach my child to pray. Each spread in the book features a prayer for a specific thing. And it helps me teach my child that prayer isn’t just for food or sleeping or for family. Kids can learn that you can also pray for your friends, for school, for animals — and that it can be about a lot of things like protection, forgiveness, blessing, help, and more!

  2. i love these types of books, i and my daughter are in the middle of teaching her son how to say the different prayers such as hale Mary, Our Father n so on.. these are wonderful books if you can get your hands on one 😉 thanks for share

  3. I love precious moments items,books,dolls,statues I’ve been a collector for many years now.This book is a great way to introduce religion into a childs routine,I like to start at a early age,this makes it easy to do so.Thanks for a great review
