If there’s one thing I hate about teeth, it’s when they feel unclean just a few minutes after brushing. I just hate the feeling that my teeth aren’t clean. I worked a few months at a dental office a couple of years ago and I learned so much about oral health in those 6 months talking daily with dentists and patients about teeth.
I learned that it’s important to floss and use a mouthwash regularly, that bleeding gums can be a very serious problem, and yes, that your toothbrush can make a difference. It matters how you brush and what you use to brush your teeth. And I’m glad to have been given the opportunity to try the Sonicare PowerUp toothbrush because it makes it a lot easier for consumers to take care of their teeth!
Sonicare PowerUp is a new and affordable battery-powered product from Sonicare.
It’s as easy to use as our manual toothbrush yet it delivers great results and a better experience. It automatically gives more brush strokes in 1 day than your manual in a month. It actually has the cleaning power of over 15,000 strokes per minute! Plus, there’s a 2-minute timer that helps ensure you brush your teeth with the recommended brushing time.
Sonicare PowerUp gives you a month’s worth of brush strokes in a day.
With more brush strokes in a day than my manual toothbrush in a month, Sonicare PowerUp removes more plaque, helps reduce cavities and improve gum health! What I love about this toothbrush is that my teeth feel so clean and fresh every time I use it! You see, I like to run my tongue on my teeth after brushing so I can feel each one and check if I was able to brush even the surfaces or areas that are hard to reach. And I’m impressed that this toothbrush is able to brush even those areas!
The 2-minute timer is also a really big plus for me. One of the dentists at our office told me that you should spend 2 seconds brushing each tooth surface (not each tooth; each surface!) and the 2-minute timeframe gives us enough time to brush each surface well!
And are you a bit forgetful like me? No fear! The Sonicare PowerUp toothbrush has Reminder Bristles that fade when you need to replace your toothbrush! So, yes, the battery-powered Sonicare PowerUp toothbrush does a better job cleaning my teeth when compared to my manual toothbrush, and even the battery-powered toothbrush I have been using before!

Well done! You shared so many great facts of the PowerUp, plus reading about your own experience is very helpful. The fact that you used to work in a dental office and like this toothbrush so much says a lot!

I really need to buy one of these. The older I get the more sensitive my teeth and gums become.
I need one of these. I brush my teeth several times a day just so they feel clean. I probably brush too much.
After using this, I never want to use a regular brush. I really like the timer too. Two minutes seems like a long time to brush, but I can really feel a difference. My mouth feels much cleaner.
I have heard many great things about Sonicare. I will have to pick on up soon and give it a try. Thank you for sharing
