I love desserts. But come to think about it, who doesn’t? I think almost everyone I know (except for those who are watching their sugar intake) would love to dive into some really scrumptious desserts.
And I decided to make one that I have long been planning to make — Peach Crepe!
This is the first time I’m making peach crepe by myself because I usually just watched my older sister do it when I was younger. And I know it would be perfect for any last-minute summer activities we’ll be doing as a family! It’s pretty easy to make, actually. So I headed over and went shopping at Lucky SuperMarket to grab some ingredients.
Peach Crepe Recipe
What you’ll need:
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup evaporated milk
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tablespoon melted butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup sifted all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- sliced peaches
- whipped cream
- chocolate syrup
Instructions:
- Beat the eggs in a bowl and gently add in milk, water, melted butter and vanilla extract while mixing.
- Add flour and sugar into the mixture and whisk until it has an even consistency. Be sure to remove any lumps.
- Heat (I prefer somewhere in between low and medium) a cooking pan and brush the surface with melted butter.
- Pour around 2-3 tablespoons of the batter (depending on the size of your pan) and form a thin crepe/wrap. The bigger the pan, the more batter you can pour into it so you can make a bigger crepe.
- Flip the crepe when bubbles start appearing. Let it cook for a few seconds then set aside.
- After the crepe has cooled, place peach slices onto the bottom third of the crepe then roll it while tucking the sides in.
- Another way of doing it is by placing the peach slices on the middle third of the crepe and folding the sides in.
- Refrigerate until cool. I like my peach crepe cold. 🙂
- Top with whipped cream and chocolate syrup before serving. Enjoy!
