I received a complimentary copy of “The Christian Mama’s Guide To Parenting A Toddler” By Erin MacPherson as a BookSneeze Blogger. Thoughts are my own.

Christian Mama's Guide To Parenting a Toddler

Erin MacPherson’s “The Christian Mama’s Guide To Parenting A Toddler” aims to tell you “everything you need to know to survive and love your child’s terrible twos“. It suggests what christian moms need to do when the sweet baby’s smiles and snuggles turn to tears and tantrums. Discussing toddler issues from throwing food to potty training to massive fits, the book is filled with sanity-saving advice every christian mom wants to hear.

As you may already know, I have a 2-year old — 27 months old to be exact — so this book is one that I know will apply to me from the moment I read the title. As a first time parent, I’m not really sure about how to deal with certain situations or issues with my little one, especially when every annoying thing happens all at the same time. And that’s why the internet has become like a best friend to me — giving me advice as to what I should do in certain circumstances.

I love that this book is not only funny. It gives the reader christian advice like taking a mom’s time out every now and then, and, yes, praying for ourselves so that we can mold our toddler in such a way that reflects our faith. And for me, that’s important.

I also love that the author’s voice is so apparent in her writing that you’d think she was actually talking to you. Both her christian values and her sense of humor radiate throughout the book.

Overall, I’d say this is worth reading and it makes me want to buy her other “Christian Mama’s Guide books!
