Applecheeks Cloth Diaper Review

I have long been seeing how other cloth diapering moms love Applecheeks. I’ve seen some threads on Facebook asking for people’s favorite brand and so many people mentioned this brand, so I was thrilled when I recently received 2 cloth diapers from Applecheeks so I could write a post about my thoughts on it.

Applecheeks Cloth Diapers

AppleCheeks cloth diapering products are designed and manufactured in Montreal, Quebec, Canada.

These washable diapers are trim-fitting and they unstuff by themselves in the wash so you don’t have to do so before laundry! AppleCheeks reusable diapers come with full customer support so you’re sure you’re getting your money’s worth.

Applecheeks

Applecheeks cloth diaper covers come in lots of different colors and I received the Appletini and Dark Chocolate.

I think Applecheeks did a great job in designing their diaper covers. I like that the opening on the pocket is somewhere towards the middle and not at the front or back edges. I think this makes it so much easier to stuff inserts inside, unlike some of the other cloth diapers I have where stuffing can be a bit of a challenge. I also like the material of both the inside and the outside but I must admit that the fabric isn’t really something that’s entirely unique to this brand. But I think Applecheeks was able to create the diaper in such a way that it felt softer and was easier to use.

Aside from the covers, I also received 2 of their One-size Rayon from Bamboo Insert. This is the first time I’ve tried using inserts that I would still have to fold before stuffing. And I’m really surprised that I like it. You see, one of the challenges I have with my inserts is that it gets so stinky. But because their inserts aren’t folded yet, they’re very easy to clean and deodorize. I also like the absorbency of the material — again, a surprise for me but I guess it’s really a plus for bamboo-made inserts.

Applecheeks 2

Now I have 2 of these amazing cloth diapers in my stash and I wouldn’t think twice about recommending this to my friends and readers of this blog. These are the ones I always look forward to putting on my son after doing the laundry. Definitely one of the best out there!

Applecheeks Cloth Diaper Review — 10 Comments

  1. My daughter swears by cloth diapers. Actually, when she was born I was given a very generous gift of diaper service for a year. There are pros and cons. Overall I think they are better.

  2. Can you include in your review the fit of the diaper? My son has scrawny legs and I find that some cloth diapers do not fit his scrawniness. Poo seeping out of leg holes = bad!

  3. I love my Applecheeks diapers! I don’t buy their inserts, I use Joey-Bunz or Geffen Baby hemp inserts and they work great. I’ve even stuffed prefolds in there.

  4. I used cloth diapers way back when. Now my daughter uses them too. They’re so much better the baby and the planet too.

  5. I have never been brave enough to use cloth diapers but it seems be getting a lot more attention these days especially with all the new designs! Thanks for sharing ur thoughts on these! 🙂

  6. I have never used cloth diapers before but it seems like they are really helpful these days.
