Lil Helper Cloth Diapers on Bay Area Mommy

Lil Helper Cloth Diapers, Wipes & Wet Bag Review

Lil Helper is a Canada-based cloth diaper company that was started in 2009 by 2 guys who both have a master’s degree in aerospace engineering. Most cloth diaper companies were founded by women so I guess in that alone, Lil Helper is already unique. I received Lil Helper’s Original PUL Cloth Diaper, Charcoal Bamboo Cloth Diaper, 2 Bamboo Wipes and a Zipper Wetbag.

Lil Helper Cloth Diapers on Bay Area Mommy

Lil Helper’s Original PUL Cloth DiapersΒ are one-size diapers that fit babies from 7-35 lbs.

Each purchase will include two detachable liners that are made from unbleached cotton and micro-terry. The outer shell is made from waterproof PUL and this diaper costs $19.95.
My son has been using these diapers for a few weeks now. These are one of the best diapers we’ve tried. I like how easy it is to simply snap on the liners just before my son uses them as well as how easy it is to snap them off when I need to wash them. Since my baby is a bit on the thin side, I appreciate its flexibility in terms of sizing.

Lil Helper Charcoal Diapers on Bay Area Mommy Their Charcoal Cloth Diaper, like the Original PUL Diaper, is a One-Size diaper that fits babies from 7-35 lbs. It also comes with two detachable liners. The difference is that the detachable liners are made with organic charcoal bamboo. The outer shell is made from breathable, water-resistant bamboo PUL. According to the Lil Helper site, Charcoal Bamboo is naturally deodorizing, anti-microbial and hypoallergenic. That’s why it costs a bit more expensive than the Original at $24.95.

What I love about the Charcoal Cloth Diaper is that my baby does not get diaper rashes.

I guess that’s the magic of charcoal bamboo. It’s also so soft. I think it’s the softest material I’ve seen in any cloth diaper. Since the prices of the Lil Helper diapers are just at par with other brands, I can say that these are a great value for your money. You’re getting awesome quality for just the average price of cloth diapers.

Lil Helper Wipes & Wet Bag on Bay Area Mommy

Lil Helper’s Organic Bamboo Wipes come in packages of 5 pieces that are priced at $11.95. The wipes are two-ply and can be used to clean up any mess. The top ply is made from micro-fiber while the lower ply is made of soft organic bamboo terry. I love these wipes so much because they’re very soft and I can use them to wipe my baby’s face especially when he has a runny nose. I also love that they’re not too bulky like the other set of wipes that I have.

The Wet bag I received was the Yellow Zipper Wet Bag which costs $9.95. It’s made of resilient, waterproof PUL and is large enough to hold 3-4 diapers which is great for traveling or if you need to leave your kid at daycare or a friend/relative. It has a snappable loop so you can easily hang it on to almost anything.

  19. I’m probably interested the most in the drawstring wetbag. I have a very nice wetbag but seem to use gallon size zip-lock in the diaper bag. Sure would love something that holds up more then just a couple times. Think I’ll have to put an order in the next time I have a little extra money.
