This is the first time I’ve tried using talalay latex pillows and I must admit I didn’t know what to expect before I received the item. When I finally received it, I immediately tried to see how it would feel if I used it while sleeping. Well, I didn’t really force myself to sleep but I did lay my head on it right away. And it felt so cool and comfy!

As you can see in the photos below, the pillows look different inside. It has holes that I think help make it cool to lay on. It’s not the type of pillow that actually gets cooler the longer you lay on it. I think it’s cool because of the holes that let air in and out easily. So the warm air from your body heat can easily escape, allowing the cooler air around you to get in. Know what I mean? I’m not a scientist though so I’m not very sure about my explanation but I think that’s why it’s cooler than our older cotton pillows.

I’m also one person that likes to sleep with pillows in between my legs. I guess I just prefer not to feel the heat between my legs when they touch. So lately I’ve been sleeping with these pillows in between my legs. And I just like that these pillows help make me sleep cool and comfy.

One thing I really noticed about it is that the material is very resilient. You tap or touch it then it seems like it springs back. You tap it on one side and it’s like the whole pillow bounces. It’s awesome! I play with it at times when I’m bored. LOL! It’s like playing with a rubber band because it goes back to its original shape right away.

These pillows are so comfy that my son would sometimes take it to his play area and lay on it. See, these are so light that my son can take it anywhere he wants. I should really try to take a photo of him when he does that. So cute!

Overall it’s a great pillow. I love my pillows soft and cool and it helps me sleep well at night.

100% Natural Talalay Latex Pillows Review — 34 Comments

  1. Pillows and all the bed stuff is really a good investment. Because you spend 1/3 of your life sleeping!

  2. That looks amazing! I’m definitely going to check those out! After having kids, I always have a pillow between my legs. I also can’t stand when I wake up and my pillow is hot. I had an emergency hysterectomy in December of last year so I deal with hot flashes now : I’m only 27.
Thanks for the review! Very helpful!

  3. I would love to try these pillows! I always have trouble with pillows getting twisted up and then they’re no good. I guess I’m a restless sleeper. I always end up with a sore neck and headache from my pillows.

  4. I had a neighbor get some latex pillows recently and she raves. I wasn’t sure whether or not to heed her recommendations but your review seals the deal. They really seem to be worth it!

  5. I love latex pillows. I have been using them for years. I love their soft yet firmness and they regulate temperature very well.

  6. Thanks for the info on this new pillow. We have shelled out so much $$ on pillows that have ended up killing our necks. We are looking for some new pillows now, so it was great to come across this review. Very helpful, cant wait ti try them.. THANKS

  7. I need some new pillows and would love to try these! Thanks for the great review! =)

  8. My parents had pillows years ago that were similar and I’ve always wondered where to get them. I’m so tired of pillows that go flat. My current pillows don’t do me any justice in getting a good nights sleep. I like also that you mention they stay cool. This is an important factor when a woman enters menopause. Thank you for sharing information on this product. Maybe Santa will bring me these!

  9. I need a new pillow bu unlike you, I don’t like it cold so I’m not sure latex is for me. Is it the latex that makes it cool?

  10. These really look comfortable! I have tried so many types and never satisfied. Might give these a try

  11. Interesting pillow. I’m looking for a good pillow and can’t find one to suit me. I spent quite a lot of money on a “My Pillow” which promised all kinds of things and did NOT deliver 🙁

  12. I like the idea that they sleep cool. I tend to get hot at night…even in the winter. I am constantly flipping my pillow over in the night to get the cool side.

  13. These pillows look great! I have really long, thick hair and I seem to always get sweaty around my neck while I’m sleeping on my regular pillow.I would love to try one of these. Thanks for the review and information!

  14. I have a pillow like this that I bought at Walmart MANY years ago…and it’s still my favorite pillow! they hold up well.

  15. i finally broke down about a year ago and bought myself an expensive memory foam bed.
i would probably be doing myself a great favor if i got one of these pillows to go with it.

  16. I really like that the pillow is light weight and stays cool. I hate a hot pillow too. I like that it is Hypoallergenic and dust mite resistant that’s a nice feature.

  17. Love that these are natural latex – so many other pillows are made of plastic or other petroleum products.

  18. I would like to try this. I hate my pillows they always go flat so when i buy a new one i put together the insides to make it bulky

  19. I just love comfy pillows. If my pillow is not comfy I don’t sleep well. I love the little holes that allows the pillow to stay cooler. I will check these out Thank you for sharing

  20. Cotton also sops up the natural oil and bacteria from your face and hair, and that grime accumulates on your case night after night, creating a petri dish out of your pillow.
