Which Giveaway Widget Do You Prefer?

I always have lots of giveaways here on Bay Area Mommy and most of these giveaways use Rafflecopter as the giveaway widget. Rafflecopter makes it so much easier for bloggers to run giveaways. It allows us to share the widget with others so they could offer the same giveaway on their blogs. It gives bloggers the flexibility to determine the weight of each task. It has a button for picking winners via Random.org and another one for announcing them. The only thing lacking, I believe, is the ability to auto-verify.

But lately, Rafflecopter has been acting up and has been down like half the time. I want to use a different (and hopefully more more reliable) giveaway widget. But I don’t want to do it if none of you are going to enter because you don’t like the widget. So I decided I’d just ask you for your feedback. Do you suggest I stick it out with Rafflecopter? Or are you okay with using another giveaway platform?

I created sample giveaways below so you can try them for yourself. These are not real giveaways. I just put them there so you can test it and decide which one you think is best.

After you’re done trying them out, please answer the quick survey below and don’t hesitate to leave me a comment/message. 🙂

  2. I prefer giveaway tools over the rest, having used it several times it seems easier and I often have problems with rafflecopter. The others I have only used once each and am not very familiar with them.

  3. I like the streamlined design of RC. I just wish it behaved like Giveaway Tools did. For instance automatically filling in the information when you open the dropdown tab so that you can just hit submit. It would also be nice to only have to type in your Twitter ID once.
If RC upgraded their application to do that, it would blow the others out of the water.

  4. I like Punchtab and Giveaway Tools so much better than Rafflecopter. I guess if I had to choose between the two, I would pick Punchtab.

  5. Rafflecopter , these other ones are crap and half the time do NOT give you your entries.

  6. I like GT and my least fave was promo simple because it has its problems connecting to twitter

    • That is my issue with Punch Tab as well. If I didn’t have to do that, Punch Tab might be my favorite.

  8. I preferred Giveaway Tool —– Paul T/Pauline T aka Paul Tran ….. emscout9 at Hotmail dot com

  9. I don’t like giveaway tools, everytime I enter a sweeps that use it i end up getting frustrated and rage quit!

  10. Giveaway Tool seems to be the other popular option for other contests. I’ve found it to be easy to enter and reliable.

  11. Giveaway tools! Or whatever ones will make it so I don’t have to open other pages to like multiple facebook pages and twitter accounts. SO tired of it.

  12. Rafflecopter is pretty simple & works well. I’d have to try the other 3 choices a few more times.

  13. I like the Giveaway tab. Seems pretty simple. I agree rafflecopter acts crazy sometimes.

  14. I’m good with any of them…just grateful for the opportunities to win some great prizes! 🙂 Thank you for all that you do!

  15. I actually prefer the Giveaway Tools or Punch Tab to Rafflecopter. It’s just faster and loads faster on my very slow connection.
