Important! NoMoreRack Hacked!

So last night, NoMoreRack got hacked and there have been reports of people seeing other people’s personal, and for some, credit card, information instead of their own when they logged in.

If you have previously saved credit card information on the site, it is suggested that you delete your account. But then again, if the information has already been taken by some unknown person, that wouldn’t really help. So I suggest you call your credit card provider, tell them about this security breach and request for a new credit card. Just to make sure that no unauthorized purchases will be billed to your account.

Moving forward, I suggest you create a Paypal account and make future online purchases using that account. It is more secure because everytime you checkout, you will be redirected to Paypal to authorize purchases. Nothing will be stored in the online store’s database about your credit card.

  1. OMG…I never had one of these accounts but it is scary the amount of times things do get hacked into.

  2. Never heard about this. Now, hospitals want you to access your medical records on line. I say no way!
