Last Sunday and Monday, Babies R Us held a “Diaper Days” promo where a select number of diapers were put on a $5 sale. Naturally, mommies all over got excited about this, including me.

One of the brands included in the sale was the Huggies Pure and Natural diapers. Given the $1.50/1 any Huggies diaper jumbo pack coupon, we could get one pack for $3.50.

What’s more, Babies R Us released a catalog last week and there is an ongoing Pure and Natural promo where you get a $5 gift card wyb 2 jumbo packs. This would bring our net cost to $2 for 2 jumbo packs.

I got so excited Saturday night that I almost couldn’t sleep. We planned to go straight to Babies R Us right after church on Sunday. Sadly, when we got there, there weren’t any Huggies Pure and Natural diapers in the shelves anymore. I guess a lot of mommies went early in the morning just to avail of this great deal.

Good thing that wasn’t the only brand on sale. We left the store with 10 packs of diapers (of different brands) and paid just $50 for everything. Still a great bargain nonetheless. I hope other mommies had better luck than me! 🙂
